The New England Patriots are officially on the grind.

The Patriots got back to their winning ways Sunday night with a convincing road win over the Houston Texans. Head coach Bill Belichick was pleased with his team’s effort, calling it a “damn good team win,” but he was also quick to remind his team there’s still plenty of work to be done.

“Just gotta keep grinding it out — every day, every week, all right,” Belichick told his team in a postgame locker room speech. “There’s no shortcut from here to the end. Just gonna have to grind it out and out-grind this week (against) Tennessee.”

The goal now and leading into the playoffs is for the Patriots to be playing at their best entering the postseason. As happy as Belichick was with Sunday night’s win, he knows there are still things that need to be improved if New England is going to make another Super Bowl run.

“We have to play like this, we have to play better than this moving forward, OK?” he said. “Congratulations, men. Good win.”
