Cristiano Ronaldo Breaks Own Champions League Group-Stage Goals Record

Cristiano Ronaldo has boldly scored in a way nobody has ever scored before in the UEFA Champions League.

Ronaldo scored four goals for Real Madrid on Tuesday in its Champions League Group A win overĀ Malmo. Ronaldo’s quartet of strikes took his tally for this season’s group stage to 11 in six games, setting a new record in European soccer’s elite competition. He and Luiz Adriano shared the previous record of nine goals.
