Ronda Rousey has a lot going on in her life besides being arguably the UFC’s most popular fighter.

She’s had acting roles, earned plenty of endorsements and done other things that take up time away from the Octagon. It all adds up, especially when you combine those activities with a rigorous training program ahead of a championship fight.

It appears all of these things weighed on Rousey entering UFC 193, where she suffered her first career loss to Holly Holm, thus losing the bantamweight title.

“I’ve talked to her almost every day after the fight,” White said during a TSN radio appearance Thursday, via MMAJunkie.com. “When she sat down with me and Lorenzo (Fertitta) a few days ago, she said, ‘I was exhausted going into that fight. I was exhausted mentally, physically, emotionally.’

“She had a lot of personal things going on, too, with her family. I don’t know. She’s gone into every fight and beat — Cat Zingano is one of the best fighters in the world, she beat her in 14 seconds. I don’t know.”

Rousey probably will get another chance to beat Holm and reclaim her title. Holm said shortly after beating Rousey that the former champ “absolutely” deserves a rematch, while White recently vowed a rematch “will happen.”

After what happened in the buildup to UFC 193, you can bet Rousey will make a strong effort to block out distractions so she can focus solely on the next fight and not be exhausted.
