Katherine McCarron — formerly Katherine Webb — announced Tuesday on Twitter that she and her husband, Cincinnati Bengals quarterback AJ McCarron, are expecting a baby boy.

Webb, who was Miss Alabama USA 2012, rose to stardom during the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, when McCarron guided the University of Alabama to a 42-14 win over Notre Dame. Her looks stood out to many observers, including play-by-play announcer Brent Musburger, who called Webb “beautiful” on the game’s broadcast before telling colleague/former Ohio State quarterback Kirk Herbstreit, “You quarterbacks get all the good-looking women.”

The Bengals selected McCarron in the fifth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. He married Webb, who appeared in the 2013 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, in July 2014.
