Michigan State trailed by four points when it got the ball with 9:31 left in the fourth quarter of the Big Ten Championship Game.

Its opponent, No. 4 Iowa, didn’t see the ball again until 27 seconds remained in Saturday night’s game.

It was an all-time great drive by the No. 5 Spartans, who covered 82 yards on 22 plays. LJ Scott ended it when he muscled his way into the end zone from 1 yard out, lifting Michigan State to a 16-13 win.

The Spartans likely locked up a spot in the College Football Playoff with the win.
