BOSTON — Kobe Bryant was the main attraction Wednesday at TD Garden, but Marcus Smart made the play of the night.

The Boston Celtics guard played less than 11 minutes against the Los Angeles Lakers in his second game back from a knee injury. As the third quarter wound down, however, Smart brought the Garden crowd to its feet with an amazing one-handed slam over Lakers big man Julius Randle after an Evan Turner miss.

“Whoa!” is right.

Smart landed hard on his back but stayed in the game and didn’t appear to suffer any serious injury.

Smart finished with just four points on 2-of-6 shooting in Boston’s 112-104 loss, but it appears the 21-year-old’s knee injury hasn’t taken away from his bounce.
