When Cam Newton gets rolling, it’s nearly impossible to bring him down. One NFL referee learned that the hard way Sunday.

The Carolina Panthers quarterback couldn’t slow down in time following that 47-yard rush, which set up a touchdown pass, one of three Newton tossed in the first half.

He had a scary moment of his own later in the game, though, when Robert Ayers smacked Newton right in the chest with this big hit.

Newton appeared injured on the play, but returned to the game shortly after.

He was injured a second time early in the second half, but again returned to the sidelines quickly.
