The New England Patriots were dealt another blow Sunday.

The Patriots, who have been ravaged by injuries this season, lost offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer in the first quarter of their Week 16 showdown with the New York Jets. Vollmer was carted off the field after suffering an apparent leg injury on a third-down run by Joey Iosefa.

Vollmer was ruled out for the remainder of Sunday’s game shortly after being carted back to the locker room. LaAdrian Waddle initially entered at left tackle in Vollmer’s absence, but he later suffered a shoulder injury.
