Let’s be clear: 2015 wasn’t the best year for the Boston Red Sox.

They finished six games under .500 (78-84) and in last place in the American League East for the third time in four seasons — not exactly the type of bounce-back campaign Red Sox Nation expected after Boston shelled out nearly $200 million to Pablo Sandoval and Hanley Ramirez after a disappointing 2014 season.

While the overall results weren’t pretty, there were certain moments that undoubtedly captivated Red Sox Nation for a variety of reasons.
