Key to Victory for Aldo
Aldo has incredible strength and athleticism, which makes him difficult to take down. He’s at his best when he’s aggressive from the start of each round. We’ll probably see this kind of start from him given what’s at stake, and an early flurry from Aldo could turn the tide in this fight and maybe put a bit of doubt in McGregor’s mind.

Aldo’s best asset, however, is his leg kick. He’ll use one in a combo or by itself, sometimes catching his opponent off guard.

Key to Victory for McGregor
McGregor needs to use his superior striking to win this fight. He’s not going to take fighters down to the ground and wrestle very often, but he’s normally able to use devastating combinations of strikes, including the ability to use both hands effectively, to pummel his opponents. The Irishman also must feed off the incredible confidence he’s shown throughout the last few months. He truly believes no one can beat him, and that’s the attitude he has to bring to the Octagon because Aldo has the potential to be his most difficult opponent yet.

Prediction: McGregor wins by TKO in Round 1
