Dinamo Zagreb will play for pride when it faces Bayern Munich for the second time this year.
Bayern Munich visits Dinamo Zagreb on Wednesday, having already secured first place in Group F of the UEFA Champions League. Dinamo Zagreb can finish no higher than fourth, meaning its European campaign will end after the Bayern Munich game. The Croatian club undoubtedly wants to end the journey on a positive note.
Dinamo Zagreb lost to Bayern Munich 5-0 on Sept. 29. Wednesday’s game should be more competitive, as Bayern Munich’s David Alaba, Douglas Costa and Mario Gotze will be out with injuries, and head coach Pep Guardiola has elected to rest goalkeeper Manuel Neuer.
When: Wednesday, Dec. 9, at 2:45 p.m. ET
