The Denver Broncos saved their season Monday night with a 20-17 overtime victory against the Cincinnati Bengals.

With the win, the Broncos moved into the No. 2 seed in the AFC, bumping the Bengals out of a first-round bye for the time being.

Due to Cincinnati’s loss, the Houston Texans were unable to clinch the AFC South, meaning the Indianapolis Colts are still alive. The Kansas City Chiefs also remained in second place in the AFC West and in the No. 5 seed in the conference.

If the New York Jets win in Week 17, they’ll clinch a playoff berth. But if the Pittsburgh Steelers win and the Jets lose, the Steelers will get in.

NESN.com New England Patriots beat reporter Doug Kyed broke down how the Pats can clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs in Week 17. Check it out here.
