Antonio Brown’s Response To Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones’ Grammy Comment Is Priceless

Antonio Brown might not play in Sunday’s divisional playoff game against the Denver Broncos, but the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver still has a sense of humor.

Brown took a nasty hit from Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict in the final moments of the Steelers’ AFC Wild Card Game win Saturday night, forcing the wideout out of the game and into the NFL’s concussion protocol. Adam “Pacman” Jones isn’t buying that Brown was actually hurt, though, and the Bengals cornerback since has made some pointed comments about the situation.

Well, Brown responded Monday. And he did so in perfect fashion.

Jones, who said after Saturday’s game that Brown deserved an “Academy Award” for acting injured, doubled down Monday afternoon, suggesting that Brown also deserved a “Grammy Award” — yes, an award given for musical excellence — for his performance in the Steelers’ 18-16 win. Brown, clearly cognizant of the botched insult, sent out a hilarious tweet shortly after.

The tweet features Brown’s head Photoshopped onto Kanye West’s body. West, a Grammy Award-winning recording artist, is one of this generation’s most successful musical performers, so what better way for arguably the NFL’s best wide receiver to assert himself against a beaten opponent?

It’s unclear whether Brown will be able to make any more enemies on the field Sunday in Denver. ESPN’s Bob Holtzman reported Monday night, citing sources, that it’s “not looking good” that Brown will suit up for the Steelers due to his injury.
