Antonio Cromartie will be able to field a football team.
Cromartie’s wife, Terricka, is expecting twins, the couple recently confirmed to Us Weekly. The New York Jets cornerback will have 12 kids total once they’re born.
And here’s the kicker: Cromartie recently underwent a vasectomy, so Terricka’s pregnancy comes as a huge shock, even though the couple is embracing the news with open arms.
“I really thought I was dreaming, even after, I was just in total disbelief,” Terricka told Us Weekly.
“I didn’t even tell Antonio right away because I didn’t think it was possible,” she added. “I was going back and forth in my head how it could even happen. In my head we were good to go, we were having free sex. I just really thought that his procedure was the best protection you could have at this point.”
Cromartie’s wife learned she was pregnant in October after going to the emergency room because of cramps. She told Us Weekly she plans to have her tubes tied after giving birth to the twins, but given the obvious potency of Cromartie’s sperm, it’s quite possible nothing can stop the little guys.
The couple has been married since 2008. They already have two children together. Cromartie has eight other children from previous relationships.
