FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots’ injury bug finally bit head coach Bill Belichick this week.
Belichick sported a shiner over his left eye during his weekly news conference with the media. He was asked in jest if he’ll be listed on the Patriots’ practice participation and injury report Wednesday.
“I don’t think we need to list the coaches on the injury report,” Belichick said. “But I’m sure if we’re required to do it, we’ll do it.”
But will Belichick be OK?
“I think I’ll live,” he said.
That settles that.
