The New England Patriots will have the support of their local hockey-playing brothers when they take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs.

The Boston Bruins posted a video Saturday morning that featured Zdeno Chara, Tuukka Rask, Dennis Seidenberg, Jimmy Hayes, Kevan Miller, Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron all wishing the Patriots luck in their postseason opener.

The B’s made a similar gesture during last season’s NFL playoffs, sporting red “Do You Job” toques the night before the Patriots and Seattle Seahawks squared off in Super Bowl XLIX.

The support goes both ways, too, with the Pats offering similar encouragement for the Bruins ahead of the NHL Winter Classic at Gillette Stadium.

New England fans surely hope Saturday’s game does not play out the way that one did for the Bruins.
