Amir Johnson recorded one block Tuesday in the Boston Celtics’ 120-114 loss to the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. He should’ve been credited with two.
Knicks big man Robin Lopez lost a shoe during the first quarter and managed to push through for a few possessions. When someone on New York’s bench tried to give back the footwear following a whistle, Johnson essentially said, “Yeah, not happening.” The Celtics forward swatted away the sneaker.

Johnson’s move was childish. It also was a little mean. The whole exchange definitely was hilarious, though, especially since Lopez didn’t take too kindly to Johnson’s good, old-fashioned “think fast.”
