The Boston Bruins played a well-rounded game Tuesday in their Winter Classic rematch against the Montreal Canadiens, and it showed in the final result.
The Bruins got goals from four different players, including the returning David Pastrnak, and goalie Tuukka Rask made 38 saves on 39 shots in the 4-1 win.
“Yeah, it was good effort,” coach Claude Julien said on “Bruins Overtime Live” after the game. “Probably part of the first period we talked about making a better decision with the puck; our puck management had to get just a little bit better. And then all of a sudden our forecheck started coming around and we started getting some chances.”
