Conor McGregor’s weird Instagram photo isn’t going unnoticed.
McGregor posted a photo Thursday of someone — himself? — posing with a gun. It’s unclear whether or not the gun is real, but police in Ireland are at least looking into the situation.
“We are investigating the circumstances under which the photo was taken,” a Gardai spokesperson told The Irish Independent. “Gardai from Crumlin are investigating.”
In McGregor’s defense, the UFC champion also recently posted videos of someone — himself? — shooting what appears to be an airsoft pellet gun, so, in all likelihood, there’s nothing to see here.
McGregor, who recently knocked out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194, reportedly will fight lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 197 on March 5.
