One fan really couldn’t keep his composure — or his balance — Sunday during the Carolina Panthers’ NFC Championship Game rout of the Arizona Cardinals at Bank of America Stadium.

Luke Kuechly intercepted a pass from Carson Palmer and returned it for a touchdown in the fourth quarter of the Panthers’ 49-15 win over the Cardinals. A fan in the end zone was so caught up in the moment he fell out of the stands and onto the field in front of Kuechly as the Panthers linebacker celebrated his pick-six.

Kuechly checked on the tumbling fan, who seemed to escape serious injury. The Panthers have been interacting with fans all season — who could forget the excited little girl who was given a touchdown ball during Carolina’s divisional round win over the Seattle Seahawks? — but this was on another level.

When all was said and done, there probably were plenty of Cardinals fans who also wanted to heave their lifeless bodies over a nearby railing, as the Panthers absolutely stomped the NFC West champions.
