Whenever “Jeopardy!” dives into sports, it’s usually gold.
That once again was the case Tuesday night when one contestant gave the worst possible answer to the $200 question “Crimson Tide” for “Colleges By Team Names.”
Terry, who was the returning champion, rang in first for the seemingly easy question. But instead of saying “Alabama,” Terry answered with its bitter in-state rival.
Nice try, Terry.
