Jeremy Hill is a big reason the Cincinnati Bengals aren’t playing this weekend, and he understandably took that very hard.
All the Bengals had to do in order to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in their wild-card playoff matchup was get a first down. Or at the very least, run the ball a few times and kill some clock, forcing the Steelers to burn their timeouts.
Instead, Hill fumbled. Add in a couple of costly Bengals penalties, and you’ve got the recipe for a disastrous Bengals loss.
Hill was mic’d up for Showtime’s “Inside the NFL,” which means his reaction to the series of events was captured. And to be honest, Hill freaking out on the sideline after the fumble is kind of heartbreaking. See it below.
