Jim Harbaugh Seems To Subtweet 49ers After Jim Tomsula Firing

Jim Harbaugh had a successful first season as Michigan’s head coach, but he apparently still harbors some resentment toward his old bosses.

Harbaugh was dismissed as the San Francisco 49ers head coach last season after the team went 8-8 and missed the playoffs. He took the Wolverines job just two days later, but the departure still was less than amicable.

And after the Niners fired coach Jim Tomsula on Sunday night after one 5-11 season, Harbaugh had this to say on Twitter.

Harbaugh led Michigan to a 10-3 season in his first year there, finishing third in the Big Ten and crushing the Florida Gators 41-7 in Friday’s Citrus Bowl. The Niners probably are wishing Harbaugh could have done the same for them.
