Jose Aldo Calls Out Conor McGregor: ‘I Wanna Whoop’ You In Rematch

A rough 13 seconds isn’t going to crush Jose Aldo’s confidence.

Aldo took to social media Wednesday to inform UFC he won’t accept anything less than a title shot. The lone exception? A rematch with Conor McGregor, who knocked out Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194.

McGregor is scheduled to fight Rafael dos Anjos at UFC 196 on March 5. Aldo clearly would like to avenge last month’s loss to McGregor, though, especially since the quick knockout was such a shocking result after such a huge buildup.

We’ll see if UFC president Dana White grants Aldo his wish at some point in the near future, but McGregor can ill-afford to focus on anything his last opponent says or posts on social media. McGregor is moving up in weight to fight dos Anjos, so the featherweight champion already has his hands full.
