Julio Jones, Antonio Brown Had More Receiving Yards Than Rams

To say that Julio Jones and Antonio Brown had good seasons would be a vast understatement.

Jones just recorded 1,871 receiving yards, the second-most in NFL history, while Brown was only 37 yards behind at 1,834, good for fourth place on the list. Each caught 136 passes, tied for the league lead and seven shy of Marvin Harrison’s NFL record of 143. Brown had 10 receiving touchdowns; Jones had eight.

ESPN’s Nick Wagoner put those incredible numbers into perspective:

While the St. Louis Rams offense was stagnant to say the least, what Jones and Brown did this season is unbelievable. As ESPN pointed out, Jones and Brown’s 3,705 combined receiving yards in 2015 was the most for any two wide receivers in one season in NFL history, outdoing Jerry Rice and Isaac Bruce’s mark of 3,625 from 1995.

They probably won’t win an actual MVP award for it, but fantasy football owners certainly remember this MVP-esque season for years to come.
