Hall of Famer Ken Griffey JrKen Griffey Jr. coasted into the Baseball Hall of Fame on his first ballot Wednesday, but if you can believe it, there were people who thought he shouldn’t have.

Griffey received the highest percentage of votes of any Hall of Famer, but three of the 440 Baseball Writers Association of America voters didn’t check off his name. And Griffey isn’t alone.

No player has ever been voted in unanimously by the BBWAA, and that means no one. Not even Babe Ruth. Despite how obvious it is that some players should be in the Hall of Fame, the writers just can’t seem to agree.

There are plenty to choose from, but we came up with 10 players who should have been no-brainers.
