Major League Baseball is getting a new look this spring training.
MLB released the caps and jerseys Thursday for 2016 spring training, andĀ for the most part, they’re pretty awesome. Both pieces feature patches designed to look like highway signs that include the state the team plays in, and the league also got creative with the logos.
The patches are a little much, but the throwback logos and colors that some of the teams are utilizing are great, especially the Chicago White Sox’s alternate logo that the team used during the late 1970s through the 1990s. The Boston Red Sox also threw it back to the 1970s with their caps, but otherwise they went with all red.
The caps are New Era, and the jerseys are made by Majestic out of a new, lighter-weight material. They’ll be available to buy Monday on MLB.com, and you can check out all 30 clubs’ uniforms on the league’s website, too.
