Isaiah Thomas officially is an All-Star.

The Boston Celtics’ 5-foot-9 spark-plug point guard had his wish granted Thursday, as NBA coaches voted him among the seven Eastern Conference reserves headed to Toronto for the All-Star Game. The rosters were announced on TNT’s “Inside the NBA.”

Thomas’ selection marks the first for a Boston Celtic since the 2012-13 All-Star Game in which guard Rajon Rondo and forward Kevin Garnett both started for the Eastern Conference squad.

Detroit Pistons center Andre Drummond joins Thomas as a first-time All-Star in the East, while Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green is the only first-time honoree for the Western Conference.
