Olivia Munn made it perfectly clear she and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers are not engaged despite a rumor that surfaced earlier this week.
The whole situation hasn’t been without confusion, however.
Munn addressed the rumor Wednesday by posting a text message exchange she had with her mother, who thought perhaps the actress really was engaged to her boyfriend. Munn then took things a step further Thursday on “LIVE! with Kelly and Michael” by actually reading the texts aloud after confirming there’s no engagement to speak of.
Munn even threw in her mother’s Asian accent for good measure.
Munn, like other athlete wives and girlfriends, sometimes has it difficult with the media, as rumors and unnecessary blame are bound to be tossed around the Internet. She’s handled this situation like a champ, though.
Perhaps someday Rodgers will toss a rock on her finger. For now, he’s eyeing another Super Bowl ring.
