The Boston Red Sox announced Wednesday that they’ve added eight non-roster invitees to the club’s 2016 spring training roster.

The eight players include infielders Josh Rutledge and Sam Travis, outfielders Brennan Boesch and Allen Craig, catcher Sandy Leon and pitchers Roman Mendez, Kyle Martin and Danny Rosenbaum.

The Red Sox now have invited 14 players to major league spring training as non-roster invitees, as Boston already added third baseman Chris Dominguez, outfielder Ryan LaMarre, catcher Ali Solis and pitchers William Cuevas, Sean O’Sullivan and Anthony Varvaro.

Red Sox pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report to spring training in Fort Myers, Fla., on Feb. 18. Boston’s first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 24 at JetBlue Park at Fenway South.
