Report: Johnny Manziel Wore Blonde Wig, Fake Mustache Out In Las Vegas

Johnny Manziel is … somewhere.

The Cleveland Browns quarterback made headlines (shocker!) again this weekend after the team reportedly couldn’t find him Sunday morning. Manziel, who is the league’s concussion protocol, was reportedly scheduled to meet with team doctors at 9:30 a.m. Sunday but never showed up.

“I’m not exactly sure where Johnny is,” Browns owner Jimmy Haslam told the media. “Haven’t talked to him. I know our football people will be on top of that.’’

A USA TODAY Sports report Saturday night placed Manziel in Las Vegas, dining and gambling at Planet Hollywood’s restaurant and casino. Manziel responded to the report by Instagramming a photo of himself and his dog with a geotag from Avon, Ohio. Of course, Manziel could’ve had a friend in Avon log into his account and post the photo, which could have been taken at any time. But it’s interesting nonetheless.

But now there’s this: A wild new report from ESPN Las Vegas says Manziel was out Saturday night in Vegas wearing a blonde wig, a fake mustache and glasses while using a fake name to avoid being spotted.

We can’t make this stuff up (although somebody else could, we admit).

Manziel apparently has been found though, and was seen Monday morning at the Browns facility, though he was not allowed to speak with the media per concussion protocol policies.

How convenient.

Haslam told the media the Browns hadn’t made a decision on Manziel’s future with the team, but that it would be up to the coaches to decide. The Browns just fired their head coach and general manager on Sunday, which means the newly hired leaders will face an interesting task on Day 1.

As if inheriting the Browns wasn’t enough already.
