There’s a new sheriff in Cleveland, which is bad news for Johnny Football.

The Browns named Cincinnati Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson their new head coach Wednesday, and that’s reportedly bad news for quarterback Johnny Manziel.

ESPN.com reported Wednesday that, Jackson made it clear to Browns management during the interview process that he didn’t want to move forward with Manziel on the roster. According to the ESPN.com report, the Browns are OK with the idea, which means Manziel’s time with the club is all but done.

Manziel’s been in the news for all the wrong reasons in recent weeks. Manziel missed the team’s final game of the season with a concussion, but the bigger issue is that he reportedly went AWOL and missed treatment that weekend. According to reports, Manziel was in Las Vegas that weekend, which doesn’t exactly ease any concerns about the 2013 first-round pick’s alleged party habits.
