Rob Gronkowski: Patriots Teammate Julian Edelman Is A Leprechaun, Bodyguard

Not even coal in his stocking can get Rob Gronkowski down.

The New England Patriots tight end answered some Twitter questions for AOL’s “2 Point Lead” recently, and the results, predictably, were awesome.

In addition to explaining what he did with that coal for Christmas (we’ll let Gronk answer that one), the 6-foot-6 behemoth detailed 5-foot-10 teammate Julian Edelman’s other job.

One Twitter user revealed that in Boston, if you say something bad about Gronkowski, a leprechaun appears and beats your shins with a bat. As if that wasn’t funny enough, Gronk took it a step further, hilariously explaining the leprechaun is Edelman and that “if he doesn’t beat you with a bat, I will beat him with my hands.”

Gronkowski also calls out one suspicious tweet he thinks could be from NFL commissioner Roger Goodell himself, and reminds us all that quarterback Tom Brady can continue wearing Uggs — or anything else he wants — as long as he keeps winning Super Bowls.

We’re guessing Patriots fans probably agree.
