Things got a bit heated between the Los Angeles Clippers and New York Knicks on Friday night at Madison Square Garden.

Clippers guard Chris Paul and Knicks center Robin Lopez were involved in a scuffle, which ended in Lopez being ejected after appearing to hit Paul in the face.

Paul did hit Lopez first, but that was with a forearm while the two fought for a rebound. However, Lopez apparently took exception to that, and he went to the locker room early as a result.

Lopez was given two technical fouls for the incident, DeAndre Jordan and Paul Pierce received one apiece, and Paul wasn’t penalized.
