Don’t believe the rumors; Ronda Rousey’s UFC career isn’t over.

Many speculated the former bantamweight champion would call it quits to focus on her career in Hollywood after she lost to Holly Holm in UFC 193, and those rumors resurfaced recently. UFC president Dana White told Yahoo! Sports the Rousey-Holm rematch wouldn’t be during UFC 200 because it conflicted with Rousey’s filming of “Road House,” but Rousey confirmed she’d be back eventually.

“Some time later in the year,” Rousey told TMZ of the Holm rematch. “They haven’t told me an exact date or location or anything yet.”

“It’s a decision we’re all going to make together, but I’m kind of waiting to hear from them what options they’re going to give me,” Rousey added.

Rousey already is working on another movie in addition to “Road House,” and it was just revealed she’d film a comedy with Tina Fey some time in the near future. And with many wondering if she was doing too much before her loss to Holm, it makes sense Rousey and White would want to give her all the time necessary to train.

In the meantime, Holm will defend her title on March 5 against Miesha Tate in UFC 197. But Rousey still plans on her next fight being against Holm.

“Of course,” Rousey said. “That’s what I want to do.”
