Well, this is awkward.
Ryan Johansen debuted an incredible Columbus Blue Jackets-themed sports court back in August 2015, but it will need a new paint job after Wednesday’s big news.
The Blue Jackets and Predators shocked the NHL world when Columbus sent Johansen to Nashville in exchange for defenseman Seth Jones, leaving the center with a now worthless sports court.
Johansen was selected fourth overall by Columbus in the 2010 draft, and he was in the midst of his fifth season in a Blue Jackets uniform.
Awkward indeed.
