Gillette Stadium was transformed into a winter wonderland for Friday’s NHL Winter Classic between the Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins, and it truly was an amazing sight.
Bruins fans saw their team play in the 2010 event at Fenway Park, but this was the first time the Canadiens played in the New Year’s Day tradition. And the first time was the charm for Montreal, which beat Boston 5-1 at the home of the New England Patriots.
