Bosh and WadeBasketball is in the midst of a golden age of talent.

The point guard position has never been deeper, the game has moved away from traditional lineups and traditional big men that has seen both scoring and defense improve (weird, right?), and interest in the sport is arguably at an all-time high.

With maybe the deepest group of talent the NBA has ever seen to choose from, Team USA basketball unveiled its list of 30 finalists for this summer’s Olympic games in Rio de Janeiro, but not without some controversy.

Of course, any time a list of players is released for anything — All-Star games, awards, etc. — there will be talk of who got “snubbed.” That talk intensifies when you narrow the pool of the world’s greatest players to just 30.

It’ll become even more difficult when that roster gets trimmed to the final 12, but for now we’re looking at the most obvious choices left off the team.

Even after tightening the belt, there still are some very deserving players — like Michael Carter-Williams, Victor Oladipo, Tobias Harris, Rajon Rondo, Mason Plumlee, Reggie Jackson, Eric Bledsoe, Isaiah Thomas and Chandler Parsons — that got snubbed from our snubs.

Crazy, right?

Without further ado, here are Team USA’s 2016 biggest roster finalist snubs.
