That’s a pretty depressing sentence, but it’s true: The Nets beat the Celtics by three points Saturday in Boston to take a 2-1 head-to-head lead despite owning the NBA’s third-worst record as of Monday at 10-23.
The Celtics enter the Barclays Center with an 18-15 record after losing two straight.
