The semifinals of the College Football Playoff are in the books, but there’s still plenty of football left to be played.
New Year’s Day features five more marquee bowl games, with Northwestern and Tennessee kicking things off at noon ET in the Outback Bowl in Tampa, Fla.
The No. 13 Wildcats enter with a 10-2 record and are seeking the first 11-win season in program history, while the No. 23 Volunteers are 8-4 but riding a five-game winning streak and nearly knocked off Alabama earlier this season.
