A scary scene unfolded at New Hampshire’s Cannon Mountain on Sunday.

Two of the cars on the main tram to the top of the ski mountain got stuck, and 48 people had to be rescued by rappelling to safety on the ground, according to WBZ-TV. The network reported 41 of the people were in a car going up, while seven were on one coming down.

The mountain told WBZ-TV every passenger got out safely and a mechanical issue was to blame for the incident.
