Ashley Graham will be joining Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition in 2016.
Sports Illustrated’s SwimDaily made the announcement Tuesday morning. The plus-sized model and body activist confirmed her appearance via Instagram.
The 28-year-old has been modeling since age 12 and has both modeled lingerie for and opened her own lingerie line with Lane Bryant.
“Thank you to everyone who stood up for curves,” she wrote. “Our voices were heard and together we can help me win Rookie of the Year.”
Graham is one of five SI Swimsuit rookies being introduced this week.
