Berkshire Bank Faceoff: Projected Lines, Pairings For Bruins-Hurricanes

by

Sixty-one games into their regular-season schedule, the Boston Bruins have played 28 of the NHL’s 30 teams. They’ll take on team No. 29 on Friday night as they visit the Carolina Hurricanes for the first time this season.

The Hurricanes have surprised everyone this season, entering Friday two points out of a playoff spot after finishing with the third-worst record in the Eastern Conference in 2014-15. Carolina hasn’t tasted the postseason since 2009 and has done so just once since winning the franchise’s lone Stanley Cup in 2006.
