BOSTON — The second night of Big Air at Fenway is just a few hours away, and this time it’s the skiers’ turn to take flight at Fenway Park.

In order to make it to Friday’s finals, though, some of the world’s best freestyle skiers had to qualify earlier in the day.

Fabian Boesch earned the highest score in the men’s qualifying with a 93.20 in Heat 2. Joining him from that group are Andri Ragettli, Jonas Hunziker and Oscar Wester.

Vincent Gagnier earned the top score in Heat 1 with a 92. Klaus Finne, McRae Williams, who gave fans an incredible point-of-view look at the 140-foot jump earlier in the week, and Felix Stridsberg-Usterud also made the final from that heat.

Rounding out the 10 finalists are Josiah Wells and Viktor Moosmann, who both made it based on their overall rankings.

Ski fans might notice some big names missing from that final group, including Nicholas Goepper, Gus Kenworthy and Joss Christensen. Both Kenworthy, who was filmed with a drone earlier in the week, and Christensen were pulled out of the event due to pre-existing injuries. Goepper hit both qualifying runs, but he didn’t score well enough to crack the top 10.

Emma Dahlstrom will headline the ladies’ final after earning an 88. Joining her are Vermont native Devin Logan, Maggie Voisin, Silvia Bertagna, Lisa Zimmermann and Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen.

The finals will kick off at 8 p.m. ET, and NBC Sports Network will start airing it at 9 p.m.
