BOSTON — Friday night belonged to the skiers at Big Air at Fenway.
Some of the best skiers in the world plunged down a 140-foot man-made scaffolding jump in the middle of Fenway Park and leaped into the Boston skyline.
Lisa Zimmermann and Vincent Gagnier both owned the night with first-place finishes in their respective competitions. To see how they won and who came in second and third, check out the full results from all three runs below:
Run 1
Ladies: The women got off to a strong start, as all six competitors landed their first runs. Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen led things off with an 89, which gave her the early lead.
Joining her in the top three were Emma Dahlstrom (84.40) and Lisa Zimmermann (82.60). Vermont native Devin Logan was just outside of the podium after earning an 81.
Men: The competition also is fierce on the men’s side. Switzerland’s Andri Ragettli hit a double 1080 perfectly and was rewarded with a top score of 91.20. Joining him in the top three were fellow countrymen Fabian Boesch (90.2) and Jonas Hunziker (89.20). McRae Williams, the only American in the men’s field, has some catching up to do after scoring an 81.60.
Run 2
Ladies: The eventual winners will be determined by the two best combined scores, and Dahlstrom jumped into first with a score of 88.60 after landing a cork 720. That brought her total up to 173.
Sjaastad Christiansen, who was leading after the first run, slipped down to second after a 71.8, and Silvia Bertagna jumped up to third after an impressive 86.20 on her second attempt, bringing her total to 147.40.
Men: Vincent Gagnier jumped all the way up to first after scoring a 92.60 on his second jump. That brought his combined total up to 181.20. Ragettli (180.20) and Hunziker (175.8) weren’t far behind, though.
Williams put down one of the best runs of the night with a switch double 1440, which earned him a 92. However, that run was similar to his first, so it wasn’t combined. Instead, that 92 will be added to his third and final jump.
Run 3
Ladies: Zimmermann came through when it mattered most with the best women’s jump of the night. She hit a switch 720, which earned a 90.6. That gave her a combined score of 173.20, which was .20 better than Dahlstrom. Both Americans crashed on their final runs and didn’t make the top three.

First: Lisa Zimmermann (173.20)
Second: Emma Dahlstrom (173)
Third: Tiril Sjaastad Christiansen (160.80)
Men: Gagnier extended his lead with a 92.40 on his final run, and no one managed to top that. Ragettli came close with a 91.80, but he needed even more to jump up to first. Williams finished just outside of the top three despite his high-flying jump on his second run.
