If the Boston Pride win their final home game Sunday against the Connecticut Whale, they’ll clinch a regular season title. And while that’s certainly near the top of everyone’s to do list, there’s something else at the forefront.

The Pride will hold “Denna Day” on Sunday as well, honoring teammate Denna Laing, who suffered a severe spinal injury at the Outdoor Women’s Classic at Gillette Stadium on Dec. 31. Laing lost feeling in her legs following the hit, and has been the recipient of several moving tributes and donations in the weeks since.

Pride forward Hilary Knight stopped by “NESN Live” on Friday to check out Big Air Fenway with our own Gary Striewski. In addition to comparing the 140-foot ramp to playing hockey at Fenway Park, Knight gave an update on Laing’s recovery and spirits.

Check out everything she had to say in the video above.
