Bret Hart has landed a positive blow in his “toughest battle,” that against cancer.
Hart, a legendary former professional wrestler, underwent successful surgery this week as part of his prostate-cancer treatment. He announced Thursday on Instagram the surgery went well and he is “on the long road to recovery.”
Hart revealed on Feb. 1 that he’s suffering from cancer and vowed to fight the disease.
He said then in a Facebook post he would rely on the love of his family, friends and supporters to help beat cancer.
It’s apparent from the photo that words of the former wrestler (known as “the Hitman”) were as accurate as a bulls-eye.
