Super Bowl week is off to a roaring start for the Denver Broncos.

The Broncos’ team buses were involved in a minor accident Monday while traveling from practice at Stanford University back to the team hotel, according to the team. No injuries were sustained and the buses returned to the hotel following a brief delay.

It’s unclear what exactly happened, but at least one bus took a “heavy hit,” a source told ProFootballTalk. Fortunately, it sounds like the accident wasn’t anything too serious. Broncos linebacker DeMarcus Ware even tweeted a photo of the “small wreck,” and it looked as though everything was OK.

This certainly isn’t how the Broncos wanted to kick off their week, as they have a lot of work to put in before Sunday’s big game against the Carolina Panthers. It could have been much worse, though, so let’s just be thankful everyone is fine.
