Bruins Managed ‘Dinged Up’ Patrice Bergeron’s Ice Time Vs. Jets As Precaution (Video)

Patrice Bergeron was not about to let the Boston Bruins lose another game.

The Black and Gold’s alternate captain was a force to be reckoned with Thursday  night, tallying two goals and just the second regular-season fight of his career while playing his typical outstanding defense in Boston’s 6-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets.

Bergeron appeared to tweak something, however, which led coach Claude Julien to manage the “dinged up” forward’s ice time a bit more than he normally would. Julien expounded on that topic and broke down the game with NESN’s Jack Edwards and Andy Brickley on “Bruins Overtime Live.”

Check out everything the coach had to say in the video above.
