There’s a chance Loui Eriksson could be in a different uniform come Monday. But the Boston Bruins have a game Sunday, so all he can do is focus on the present.

The Bruins recently offered Eriksson a contract extension but have yet to reach a deal with their winger, leaving the possibility open that he could be traded to another team ahead of the NHL’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline on Monday. Eriksson acknowledged the rumors Sunday at the Bruins’ morning skate ahead of their game against the Tampa Bay Lightning, but wasn’t interested in discussing much more than that.

“You always see a lot of things going around,” Eriksson said. “Coming back to it again, I’m just trying to play the game and have fun with the team and try to win games right now. …We’ll see what’s going to happen. All I can do is just play and just help the team.”
